Domaine Antonin Guyon Corton Grand Cru 2016
Burgandy Grand Cru
Among the renowned Burgundy wineries are many renowned names, among which Domaine Antonin Guyon holds pride of place. France’s leading wine critic, Michel Bettane, described the winery’s wine style as “neoclassical.” Corton is one of the most renowned Grand Cru vineyards, where wine production first began during the reign of Charlemagne, around 800 AD. The wine’s aroma is filled with delicate tones of jam, strawberry, and stewed berries. The wine is of medium density, well-structured, with silky, orderly tannins, a pleasant freshness, and a long aftertaste.
